Keynote speaker and President of Geist’s DCiM division, Matt Lane, will kick off the symposium by discussing Environet & Racknet beginning, growth, road map, and future.

Track A: Communication Protocols with Ben Stelzer
Learn about the different types of communication protocols and how they interact. Ben Stelzer will present this session which is appropriate for both beginners and advanced technical professionals.
Track B: Uncovering Leads & Geist Differentiators with Steve Lewis
Learn the best methods for uncovering, following, and closing leads. Steve Lewis will go over the types of potential customers and how to work effectively with decision makers for sales. This session will include discussions on qualifying questions and highlight Geist’s differentiators.

Track A: Basic System Training with Justin Blumling
Learn Environet and Racknet basics. This session will act as an introductory training session on the fundamental software configuration and set up. It will explore basic system overviews, alarming, histories, email configuration, notes, chart builder, user set up, and single click histories.
Track B: Pricing with Steve Lewis
Steve Lewis will go over pricing and methods for pricing out Environet and Racknet systems. He will discuss different tool set that can be used to accurately estimate systems including Geist’s configurator tool.

Track A: Advanced Editing with Ben Stelzer
Ben Stelzer will cover graphic editing for Geist DCiM software. Learn how to edit Environet floor plans, move
equipment, and create Racknet floor plans.
Track B: DCiM Best Practices with Joe Pilotti
This session will review downtime costs/causes, monitoring data center critical infrastructure best practices, and how to select an appropriate Management system. It reviews how to effectively monitor the data center to prevent downtime.

Track A: Reporting Tool Set with Justin Blumling
Become proficient in the Report Manager for Environet and Racknet. Learn how create reports, customize
them, build charts, use single click histories, and set automation.
Track B: Differences Between Environet & the Racknet Product Family with Steve Lewis
This session will analyze some key differences between Environet and Racknet. It will also go through the Racknet Product Family in detail.

TrackA: Round Table: Features/Road Map with Matt Lane & Matt Lenhart
Discuss the benefits and challenges of our current road map with a panel of Geist Engineers. This session will allow end users to voice their ideas for improvements, rate our product road map, speak directly with Geist Engineers about the challenges that they face and the types of improvements that would most benefit them.
Track B: Partner Round Table with Steve Lewis & Joe Pilotti
This session will include a panel of Geist partners that use the Environet DCiM software. Panelist will discuss their experiences with Environet and Geist as well as the pro’s and con’s.
